Hello everyone! By now you may have heard that the library has been closed off for most of the week, and I wanted to update you all as to why. We had a sprinkler pipe 'burst' and came in on Tuesday to find water pouring down from the ceiling in the children's area and over the circulation desk.
Well, we've been drying off till then, but it can take a long time to get water out of dense things like books, not to mention walls and ceilings! In many ways we're very lucky, and many of the books will make it through intact.
For our Teen readers and library-goers I want to assure you all that our Teen books remained perfectly dry, and just as luckily, no water got anywhere near our Wii system. Sadly we'll still be closed -this- Saturday, but we should be back to gaming as usual next week, and we hope to see you there!
