Then you can check out books on your smartphone right now, from wherever you are! (If you have your phone and reception, anyways!)
Many state libraries have been picking up Overdrive service, and Overdrive allows you to use your library card to check out and download digital titles. Regular 'print' books, and those same stories as Audiobooks are available to be searched, browsed, checked out, and downloaded all straight to your iPhone or Android phone! It's completely free, though does take just a little bit of setup the very first time you do it.
After that, you'll never run out of a story to entertain you when you're on your own!
